Into the Clouds

I climb the road that never ends. Who can break from the snares of the world and  join me in the clouds? ~ Han Shan

Tangerine Dreams

Picture yourself in a boat on a river. With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
                                                                                                   - The Beatles

Sleep invites
apricot dreams
in
peaches
and cream
Honey-drenched skies meet drip castles of sand

Tangerine melts into a chalk drawing

Just Look

Just imagine becoming the way you used to be as a very young child, before you understood the meaning of any word, before opinions took over your mind. The real you is loving, joyful, and free. The real you is just like a flower, just like the wind, just like the ocean, just like the sun.
                                                 - Miguel Angel Ruiz

Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.
     - Hans Christian Andersen

Love is the flower you've got to let grow.

                - John Lennon

When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment.  Most people in the city rush around so, they have not time to look at a flower.  I want the to see it whether they want to or not.
          - Georgia O'Keeffe

Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature. - Gerard De Nerval

Black Phoebe Yoga

A Black Phoebe, my favorite bird, flies outside my yoga class at Buddhi Yoga.

He moves from bush to wall to wire catching insects as I move inside the yoga studio doing vinyasa poses.

He's shy about working on the mat.

After following our sequences, he lands on a wire.

When he's in his resting pose of savasana, he permits a photo or two.

He's gone, in a flash, until my next class.

Perspective Renewal

"We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses."
                                                                                                                              -Abraham Lincoln

Turn difficult thoughts around for a renewed perspective.
