The Shack is Back
An icon at WindanSea beach in La Jolla, the shack felt the onslaught of surf this winter.

In 1946, locals Woody Ekstrom, Fred Kenyon and Don Okey constructed the original shack. It received historical designation by the San Diego Historical Resources Board on May 27, 1998.
Frame is sturdier. Smiles from locals abound!
